Students in Cincinnati can opt to study fashion design and product development at the University of Cincinnati's acclaimed College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. Another option is the fashion marketing program offered by the Art Institute of Ohio – Cincinnati.
While the state of Ohio doesn't offer specific projections for fashion designers, the outlook for the design industry as a whole looks rather good. Through 2012, designers can expect increases in job opportunities of 16%, while merchandisers have a minor increase of 4% forecasted.
